What you'll be doing
The tour begins with a 30-45 minute visit stop at Batu Caves, one of the most popular Hindu Shrines outside of India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. Spend your time climbing its 272-steps, walking through the main cave, where you can enjoy sculptures of deities and murals depicting scenes of the Hindu Scriptures, and watching the many monkeys living in and around the caves.
You then continue on the journey up to Cameron Highlands, during which you will drive past rubber and palm plantations, a tropical fruit orchard, aboriginal villages and much more. The first Cameron Highlands town you will pass through is Ringlet Town, located at the base of the mountain. From there, you will continue on the 60km long winding roads up to the rest of the highlands.
At midday, you will arrive at Tanah Rata town, about halfway up the mountain, where you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. You then begin sightseeing which includes visits to a tea plantation, tea factory, rose garden, butterfly park, strawberry farm, farmers markets and much more. In the evening, you will check in at the resort and then have free time for the rest of the day.
Complimentary pick up is provided from anywhere within the Kuala Lumpur city & Petaling Jaya areas. There may be extra charges for locations outside of these areas.

If you are lucky, you may be able to watch the orang utan feeding.
At midday, lunch will be served at a local restaurant either on the island or in Marina Village. After lunch you continue the journey north, driving through the state of Perak, passing limestone hills and the many small towns that once upon a time were hubs for the Malaysian tin mining industry.
A highlight just before you leave the state of Perak would be the visit stop at Kuala Kangsar, nicknamed the royal town, where the Sultan of Perak and the Perak royal family reside. Upon arrival in Penang, you will cross the Sultan Ahmad Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge, also known as the Penang Second Bridge, to get onto the Island.
