After which you will proceed the 1 1/2 hour journey to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary, via the East Coast Highway, driving past the Titiwangsa mountain ranges, limestone hills and through the Malaysian rainforest.
At midday, lunch of local cuisine will be served at Lanchang town, Pahang and following that, there will be an enroute stop at Deerland Mini Zoo. Upon arrival at the elephant sanctuary there will be a short briefing from the staff and a 30 minute video documentary about elephant relocation at the Visitors Information Centre. Activities begin with the elephant feeding, watching the adult elephant bathing in the river, and elephant grooming. Water activities with the baby elephants is subject to water levels and the weather.
