Kuala Lumpur Countryside & FRIM Rainforest Hiking Tour

The tour begins with the rainforest hike in FRIM, the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia. Part of the Bukit Lagong Forest Reserve, located just a few minutes from the city center, the forestry institute offers a tranquil experience in nature where you can trek through some of the most spectacular secondary rainforest in the city whilst enjoying the thriving flora and fauna that live there and the serene waterfall and river that cuts through the ancient land.

After the trek, you will enjoy a 30-45 minute visit stop at Batu Caves, one of the most popular Hindu Shrines outside of India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. Spend your time climbing its 272-steps, walking through the main cave, where you can enjoy sculptures of deities and murals depicting scenes of the Hindu Scriptures, and watching the many monkeys living in and around the caves. You will then drive through the suburbs, to the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur along the "Ambassador's Row" where the embassies of various nations are located.

After which you will continue on with the visit to the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory. Founded in 1885, it is the largest and the most modern in all the world, world renown for its high quality craftsmanship. Along the way, you will drive past Malay villages and enjoy a visit stop at a batik making factory where you can learn how batik is made by hand. This tour offers you both a short escape into nature, as well as some of the hustle and bustle of the city, as you learn about the Malaysian culture and heritage.

Deposit Payment

A deposit of RM 100.00 per traveller is required when you book. This payment is fully refundable until we confirm your tour and send you the tour confirmation.

Balance Payment

The rest of the payment, minus the deposit already paid, is due 24 hours before your tour begins.
