Hello Michael!
This is Michelle who recently hired your
services for the White Water Rafting @ Padas river and Mount
Kinabalu trip from 30th June to 4th July 2007.
I'm writing to you to tell you how much we
have enjoyed the trip to Kota Kinabalu organized by your team!
We would like to express our big thanks for the planning's,
advises, tips, as well as those little helps that meant alot for
our smooth preparation for the White Water Rafting @ Padas River
and Mount Kinabalu expedition! We'd also like to share our
experiences with your team of experts and the adventure we had
during our stay here!
White Water Rafting @ Padas
River
The briefing done by the experts during the
prior night at the lodging was very useful in that it prepared
us mentally for what was in store for us. The journey from
Beaufort train station to the Pangi Dam was smooth and filled
with nice views of the rapids along the Padas River. The
briefing was concise and off we went to the real thing! We had
so much excitement and fun with all the relentless paddlings!
Conquerring rapids and rapids was so fulfilling, especially
those difficult ones like Cobra. The feeling of seeing the
wave coming in will be something that's worth recalling.
We were appreciative of the video footages that were shot from
the beginning of the day till the very end of the event, we
really liked the what we saw!
Ascent @ Mount Kinabalu
Thanks for advises on the trekking and the
type of food we should take prior to taking on the summit.
We were better prepared with all your encouragement and
reassurances.
Mesilau route was indeed a route that was
worth taking - the sceneries were so nice and we could find more
beautiful floral and plants! Though it was a longer route,
the journey up was definitely much interesting. We
liked the sunset enroute to base camp - it was so mesmerizing
that we couldn't help but stop to admire it for some time!!
We base camp was really a good resting point for us before we
take on the summit. The journey up the summit was so full
of anticipation, determination, and biting cold - but
it was all worth the while for the moment of reaching the top
and watching the sun comes rises above the horizon. The
journey down was really a test on the thigh and the knees too!
Breakfast at the base camp was very nice and so are the morning sceneries
at the base camp. Afterwards the descend down to the
Kinabalu Park HQ via the Timpohon trek let us tasted the
difference between this and Mesilau trek that we went up from.
Transport back to our lodging from Park HQ was a smooth one, for
our tired bodies could not wait to get a refreshing shower and
rest!
All in all, we really enjoyed the adventure
alot with the help rendered by your team of experts. And
of course, the nice chats and tips that we had from you tops it
all!
Thank you MM Adventure Services, for making this trip so
enjoyable!
Regards,
Michelle
