A trip to the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur along the ‘Ambassador Row’. Drive along Jalan Ampang where embassies of various nations are located. Stop by a rubber plantation to witness rubber tapping by hand. Visit the Royal Selangor Pewter factory which is the largest and the most modern in all the world, known for its international reputation for its high quality and craftsmanship and pass by Malay villages. See how batik is done by hand. Also visit a scorpion farm and finally the famous Batu Caves with its 272-steps, these limestone caves are a popular tourist attraction for the annual Thaipusam Festival and normal days as well as the caves are filled with images of dieties and murals depicting scenes of the Hindu Scriptures,and see the many monkeys living in and around the caves.
